High school diploma or equivalent required Minimum 2 years of injection molding experience required Experience with mold setups, insert changes, and auxiliary equipment preferred Basic knowledge of IQMS or similar manufacturing systems preferred Strong mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting skills Ability to work overtime as needed to support production demands Strong communication, organization, and teamwork skills Commitment to safety, quality, and continuous improvement in a manufacturing environment Key Responsibilities Mold Setup & Changeovers Perform mold setups and insert changeovers on injection molding presses as directed by production leadership Set up and prepare auxiliary equipment including dryers, sonic welders, label machines, and related production equipment Monitor IQMS schedules and prepare molds, inserts, and materials to minimize machine downtime during changeovers Start and restart production efficiently while maintaining production schedules and quality standards Enter scrap and downtime information into IQMS before the end of each shift Maintain awareness of production schedule changes and communicate with Shift Foreman regarding priorities Report mold issues, equipment concerns, or potential production problems to the Shift Foreman and Production Manager Store molds properly in designated locations and maintain accurate mold status updates Production & Quality Support Work closely with Quality Inspectors to ensure parts meet quality standards and specifications Support compliance with established processing parameters and procedures to reduce scrap and maximize efficiency Communicate process changes or production adjustments to production leadership Train and assist machine operators on work instructions, packaging procedures, and production standards Assign and oversee production personnel to ensure procedures and safety requirements are followed Materials & Inventory Maintain adequate supplies of production tools and consumables such as gate cutters Report damaged tools and coordinate replacements with Shift Foreman Notify leadership of low inventory or needed mold change components such as fittings, hoses, and bolts Ensure all completed production is scanned and transferred to the warehouse by end of shift Monitor and utilize regrind materials whenever possible to minimize waste Safety & Compliance Enforce PPE requirements including safety glasses and hearing protection in designated areas Identify and report unsafe equipment, conditions, or workplace hazards to management Follow all company safety policies and manufacturing procedures Support housekeeping and organized work areas throughout production Why This Opportunity?
