Full-Time, Permanent Position Summary We are seeking an experienced and results-driven General Manager to lead daily operations, financial performance, workforce development, customer satisfaction, safety initiatives, and regulatory compliance for a growing industrial operation. The ideal candidate is a hands-on leader with a proven ability to manage complex operations, drive continuous improvement, and build high-performing teams. This role requires strong business acumen, operational leadership, and significant experience working within highly regulated environments where environmental compliance is a critical component of business operations. A key requirement for this position is direct experience working with Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) regulations, compliance programs, audits, inspections, reporting requirements, permitting processes, or related environmental initiatives. Key Responsibilities Lead and oversee all operational activities to ensure efficiency, productivity, quality, and profitability. Develop and implement strategic initiatives that support operational excellence and long-term business growth. Maintain full P&L responsibility, including budgeting, forecasting, cost control, and financial performance management. Provide leadership, coaching, and development to managers and employees across multiple departments. Ensure compliance with environmental, safety, transportation, and regulatory requirements. Oversee facility operations, equipment maintenance, resource allocation, and workforce planning. Manage environmental compliance programs, audits, inspections, permitting activities, and regulatory reporting requirements. Partner with Human Resources, Finance, IT, and Administrative teams to achieve organizational objectives. Foster strong customer relationships and support business development initiatives. Collaborate with executive leadership to execute strategic goals and operational priorities. Required Qualifications Bachelor's degree preferred. Minimum of 4 years of senior-level management experience with responsibility for personnel, operations, and financial performance. Demonstrated experience managing multiple departments, operational functions, or business units. Strong leadership, communication, organizational, analytical, and problem-solving skills. Experience with P&L management, budgeting, and financial oversight. Preferred Qualifications Experience within the electrical utility, power distribution, transformer, energy, industrial services, or related infrastructure industries. Familiarity with transformer operations, utility equipment, electrical infrastructure, asset management, repair, maintenance, manufacturing, or service environments. Experience leading operations in highly regulated industries where safety, environmental compliance, and operational reliability are critical. Environmental Compliance Requirement (Required) Candidates must have significant experience working with environmental compliance programs and regulations through one of the following: Previous employment with the Environmental Protection Agency (EPA); OR Experience working in a manufacturing, industrial, environmental, recycling, logistics, transportation, or similarly regulated organization where interaction with EPA regulations, inspections, reporting, permitting, or compliance requirements was a regular part of operations.
