Our Park is fast-paced and definitely not boring. And we are more exciting than fast-food and retail too! Position is long-term, not seasonal. We are looking for hard working, responsible, light-hearted individual with strong customer service skills. A strong team environment is crucial for our business and we need an active Supervisor who will embrace and promote that type of a workplace. Our Management team is trained to learn every nuance of the business, so whether you're creating an award winning birthday party experience, hosting a corporate event, or overseeing a busy night, we'll provide you with the tools and knowledge necessary to ensure the success of the Park.
  • Responsible for all aspects of the operation including entertainment, food, beverage, attractions and property inspections.
  • Cultivates a team environment that provides exceptional customer service while directing the team and ensuring all staff members perform at a consistently high level.
  • Leads and influences staff through effective motivation, leveraging individual strengths to ensure customer satisfaction and maximum productivity.
  • Monitor staff performance and interactions
  • Assist in hiring, retention of staff, coaching, discipline; ensures execution of staff training programs.
  • Select, develop staff and trainers for more responsibility or internal promotability into a leadership program.
  • Assists with inventory and controlling expenses.
  • Maintain a safe, clean and secure environment for all guests and staff.
  • Continuously improves operational execution through attention to detail and adherence to Urban Air operating standards and philosophies.
  • Other duties as assigned.
Skills & Qualifications Required:
  • High School Diploma required; some College preferred
  • 1-2 years of Supervisor level experience in Hospitality industry (Restaurants, Retail, Theme Parks, Family Entertainment Centers, Hotels, Resorts, Casinos)
  • Proven conflict management skills
  • Legally able to work in the United States
  • Able to work a varied schedule including weekends, nights, and holiday
Hours:
25 hours minimum up to 40+ depending on business needs.
  • Must be able to communicate clearly with fellow Management, Staff, and Guests
  • Maintain professional appearance.
  • Must be at least 18 years of age. At least 21 years of age preferred.
  • Ability to pass a background-check as prescribed by Urban Air Adventure Park.
  • Ability to obtain Food Handler certification, Basic First Aid Certification, & online Urban Air Training Programs prior to position start.
  • Computer Skills a must — Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
  • Adaptability, flexibility, general enthusiasm for the business.
  • Willing to learn and adapt to changes or challenges.
  • Ability to establish working relationships with all employees, management, and vendors.
  • Exercises good judgment in decision making.
  • Appreciation of diversity (thought, ethnic, gender, etc.)
  • We work when others play!
Must be able and willing to work weekends, evenings and holidays

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS
  • Work days, nights, and/or weekends as required.
  • Work in noisy, fast paced environment with distracting conditions.
  • Move about facility and stand for long periods of time.
  • Lift and carry up to 30 pounds.
