THE JOB:
As the Assistant Manager of Patisserie at ARIA, you will support the daily operations of an elegant café destination known for its artisanal pastries, refined presentation, and welcoming atmosphere. In this role, you will help set the stage for a seamless and elevated guest experience through your warm, professional demeanor and attentive service. By understanding each guest's unique preferences and needs, you will own their experience—creating WOW moments they will carry with them long after their visit—while supporting operational excellence and the consistent delivery of ARIA's service standards.
THE DAY-TO-DAY
Review daily schedules and manage time off and vacation requests, coach and train on policies, procedures, and performance Supervise cashiers to ensure correct policies and procedures for check handling and closing are maintained by service staff as well as manage activities; means of access and egress, to ensure complete compliance with Health Department and Fire Marshall Regulations Directly communicate with the Chef on all food service and menu issues Assist in seasonal menu changes and holiday menu changes Order supplies through the IP System and Purchasing Exercise cost controls for all aspects of restaurant operation Manage pricing and maintenance issues to ensure checks can be processed correctly Direct communication with guests for special requests and large party reservations
THE IDEAL CANDIDATE
Work varied shifts, to include weekends and holidays required High School Diploma or GED required Must be 21 years of age or older 2+ Years of prior relevant service experience in a similar dining environment required Previous experience as a manager in a high-volume quick service restaurant or similar environment preferred Previous experience managing employees under a collective bargaining agreement preferred
