Server/ Assistant Manager 5 NW Minnesota Avenue, Bend, OR 97703 Hybrid work From $36,000 a year - Full-time From $36,000 a year - Full-time Job Summary We are seeking an energetic and professional Server / Assistant Manager to join our team. In this role, you will deliver exceptional customer service while assisting in managing daily restaurant operations. Your enthusiasm for food, beverage, and guest satisfaction will drive a lively atmosphere and ensure smooth service flow. This is a full time, 5 shift a week, hybrid position. 2-3 nights a week your role would be as a fine dining server, the other 2-3 nights would be in a front of house managerial capacity. You'll make good tips on serving nights, and help cover servers on their vacations / time off needs. Responsibilities Greet guests warmly, take orders accurately, and serve food and beverages efficiently to ensure a positive dining experience Assist in supervising restaurant staff, including servers, bartenders, and support staff, to maintain high standards of service and cleanliness Support management with shift management duties such as opening and closing procedures, cash handling, and inventory control Ensure guest satisfaction by engaging with the customers during their and getting to know them during their patronage Use Toast POS system to process orders, payments, and manage sales transactions accurately Contribute to staff training and development by mentoring team members on customer service, hospitality, and restaurant protocols Help monitor food production quality, assist in kitchen management tasks, and support catering or banquet services when needed Requirements Proven experience serving in fine dining restaurants, preferably a steakhouse. Demonstrated supervisory experience with team management and staff training responsibilities Excellent customer service skills with the ability to handle diverse guest needs professionally Experience in restaurant management or assistant manager roles is preferred Ability to work efficiently during shifts that may include evenings, weekends, and holidays in a fast-paced setting Strong knowledge of wines and wine service If you are a professional server, interested in this position, we would love to hear from you.
