Studio Manager Made By You Springfield, OR Job Details Part-time $19 - $25 an hour 1 day ago Qualifications Office activity coordination Operations management Inventory management Customer inquiry handling Staff training Training & development Full Job Description The Studio Manager oversees the day-to-day operations of Made By You and ensures the studio runs smoothly, efficiently, with an exceptional customer experience. This role blends hands-on operational leadership and requires someone who's organized, friendly, and able to keep a busy studio on track. Key Responsibilities
- Oversee all daily studio operations, including opening/closing procedures, workflow, and maintaining a safe work environment.
- Provide excellent customer service and create a welcoming atmosphere for guests, answering questions, helping with projects, and ensuring a great experience.
- Address personal matters professionally, including coaching, communication, conflict resolution, and maintaining a strong team culture.
- Manage and update the studio's social media presence using photos, reels, promotions, and studio updates to enhance the community engagement.
- Plan, schedule, and coordinate studio events, private parties, and group activities.
- Track inventory, place supply orders, and maintain all materials needed for daily studio operations.
- Assist in training new staff and ensuring consistent studio standards and procedures.
Customer Issues:
Monitor product and materials usage, firing schedules, bisque/glaze needs, and control of custom pieces.- Assist in firing new staff and ensuring consistent studio standards and procedures.
- Provide structure for tasks such as email communication, customer inquiries, bookkeeping, project management, and line area upkeep.
- Promote safety protocols and proper use of equipment, materials, and kiln area.
- Cover staff shifts when needed to ensure smooth operation and adequate staffing.
- Perform all other duties as assigned to support studio operations. Qualifications
- Experience in customer service and/or studio or retail management preferred.
- Strong communication, problem-solving, and leadership skills.
- Ability to multitask in a fast-paced, creative environment.
- Familiarity with social media platforms and basic content creation.
- Reliable transportation and able to work evenings or weekends as needed.
- Comfortable managing studio processes (gazing, loading, pottery handling) with training provided.
