The Club Manager is responsible for the day-to-day management of the VFW canteen, including staff supervision, scheduling, inventory control, event coordination, and ensuring a welcoming, safe, and professional environment for members and guests. This role requires strong leadership, excellent communication skills, and the ability to work independently while supporting the goals of the Post. Oversee daily operations of the canteen and clubroom. Hire, train, schedule, and supervise bartenders and support staff. Maintain inventory, place orders, and manage vendor relationships. Ensure compliance with all PA liquor laws and VFW policies. Handle cash management, deposits, and basic financial reporting. Coordinate events, entertainment, and community activities. Maintain a clean, safe, and welcoming environment. Communicate effectively with Post Officers and the House Committee. Address member concerns professionally and promptly.
