Sales Floor Supervisor

GENERAL PURPOSE OF POSITION

 The Selling Floor Supervisor is a part of the store leadership team responsible for driving profitable sales through consistent execution every day with every customer. These tenants are not just words on paper; we expect all associates to consistently bring them to life in their interaction with fellow associates and customers.  Associates in this position are generally considered as bench for our Assistant Store Manager position.

RESPONSIBILITIES

 Ensures the store is easy to shop for the customer by supervising the SSTT (Sizing, Sorting, Ticketing and Tagging) process including training, coaching and monitoring progress.  Leads a team of associates to markdown merchandise timely with responsibilities including weekly plan, assigning of responsibilities and monitoring of progress.  As part of the leadership rotation, supervise all functions of the store while in the role of Manager on Duty. This includes leading cashier and receiving responsibilities, resolving customer situations, overall safety and security for all customers and associates.  Participate in weekly Workload Planning Meetings and morning rallies.  Instill high standards for the customer experience by coaching and supervising Selling Associates to ensure that the sales floor and fitting room standards are met consistently.  Assist with interviews, selection, orientation and training of associates.  Coordinate meal and break periods and monitor schedule adherence.  Perform other tasks as assigned from time to time.
