In this vital role, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth transition at the end of each day, maintaining a safe and nurturing environment for infants. Your enthusiasm and attention to detail will help foster a positive atmosphere where young children feel secure, loved, and supported in their developmental journey. This position offers an exciting opportunity to work closely with infants, supporting their growth through caring interactions and classroom management. The hours we are looking for are 12:30pm-6pm Monday through Friday, but may need you some days earlier if you have flexability in you schedule. Duties Safely supervise infants during the closing period, ensuring all children are accounted for and comforted before departure Assist with end-of-day routines such as diapering, feeding, and calming infants as needed Clean and sanitize toys, surfaces, and equipment to maintain a healthy environment Complete daily documentation of infant activities, milestones, and any concerns to share with team members or parents Support classroom management by organizing materials and preparing the space for the next day's activities Communicate effectively with parents or guardians regarding their child's day and any important updates Collaborate with team members to uphold safety protocols, including first aid procedures and emergency response plans Requirements 2 years experience working with children is required Knowledge of childhood development principles and age-specific caregiving techniques Ability to work effectively as part of a team in a fast-paced environment while maintaining patience and compassion Excellent communication skills to interact confidently with children, parents, and colleagues Flexibility to adapt to changing needs within the classroom environment Join us in creating a warm, safe space where infants can thrive! Pay:
$13.00 - $17.00 per hour
