Job Description:
Allegheny College is seeking a dynamic and entrepreneurial Manager of Retail Operations to lead all retail operations, including the campus store, e-commerce, athletic venue sales, and mobile retail locations. This is an exciting opportunity to drive revenue growth, enhance customer experiences, strengthen campus engagement, and shape the future of retail at the College. Key responsibilities include overseeing daily retail operations, merchandising, inventory management, purchasing, budgeting, marketing initiatives, vendor relationships, and staff development. The successful candidate will collaborate with campus partners to expand retail opportunities, promote school pride, and support institutional events and programs.
Qualifications:
47 years of retail management experience with demonstrated leadership success Bachelor's degree preferred or equivalent combination of education and experience Experience in merchandising, inventory management, budgeting, marketing, and team leadership Strong communication, organizational, customer service, and analytical skills The ideal candidate is innovative, customer-focused, and passionate about creating engaging retail experiences while building a culture of service and excellence.
