Job Summary We are seeking an energetic and dynamic Department Lead to oversee daily operations within a vibrant retail environment. This role is pivotal in driving sales, ensuring exceptional customer service, and maintaining a well-organized store atmosphere. As a Department Lead, you will inspire your team, manage merchandising strategies, and uphold brand standards to create an engaging shopping experience. Your leadership will foster a positive work environment while ensuring operational excellence across all department functions. Responsibilities Supervise and motivate team members to achieve sales goals and deliver outstanding customer service. Oversee store management tasks including inventory control, stock replenishment, and merchandising setup using planograms and schematics. Manage pricing strategies, promotional displays, and branding efforts to maximize store appeal and profitability. Coordinate remodeling projects, interior design updates, and store layout improvements to optimize customer flow. Ensure compliance with safety standards, cleanliness protocols, and store policies through effective supervision of cleaning routines and organizational practices. Utilize POS systems for cash handling, sales transactions, and inventory management while maintaining accurate retail math calculations. Skills Proven supervising experience with strong leadership capabilities. Solid understanding of marketing principles to drive store traffic and brand awareness. Experience in store management, remodeling projects, and retail sales operations. Excellent communication skills paired with organizational skills to coordinate teams efficiently. Expertise in merchandising, stocking, inventory management, POS systems, pricing strategies, and cash handling procedures. Strong background in customer service excellence coupled with retail math proficiency. Ability to lead training & development initiatives while fostering a collaborative team environment.
