What This Role Looks LikeThis position blends strategic leadership with hands-on execution. You will oversee complex financial planning engagements while helping standardize processes, mentor advisors, and drive operational excellence across the planning team.

You will:

Lead and oversee the financial planning functionBuild consistency and accountability across planning deliverablesDevelop and mentor a high-performing planning teamEnsure planning work is accurate, timely, and strategically valuableImprove workflows, systems, and planning processesPartner closely with senior leadership on firm-wide initiativesResponsibilitiesAs the Financial Planning Manager, you will:

Review and approve financial planning workRequire revisions and maintain planning quality standardsRedesign workflows and operational processesReassign responsibilities when necessaryImplement new planning standards and best practicesAddress performance issues directly and constructivelyProvide mentorship and leadership to financial planners and support staffSupport advanced client planning conversations involving tax, estate, retirement, and cash flow strategies
