Job Overview We are seeking a dynamic and results-driven Multi-Unit Store Manager to oversee the daily operations of our Long Island City location and upcoming Elmhurst location. The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership skills and a deep understanding of food service, ensuring that our store meets its sales goals while providing exceptional customer service. This role requires a keen ability to analyze market trends, manage inventory, and lead a team effectively. Responsibilities Lead and motivate the store team to achieve sales targets and enhance customer satisfaction. Foster a positive work environment that encourages teamwork and professional development. Utilize retail math to analyze sales data, track performance, and optimize inventory levels. Manage all aspects of store operations including merchandising and employee orientation. Oversee the recruitment process by conducting interviews and selecting candidates who align with our company values. Go through Soft Swerve's training program for new hires to ensure they are equipped with the necessary skills for success. Create and publish staff schedules based on team members' availability, making adjustments as needed to ensure the store is always fully staffed. A willingness and ability to step in and cover shifts as a last resort is required. Monitor market trends to identify opportunities for growth and improvement within the store. Learn the process of making our soft serve mixes and work closely with Back of House staff to ensure an adequate stock is always available; While BOH staff will primarily handle this responsibility, the manager must be prepared to step in if necessary, such as in emergencies or staff absences. Learn how to clean and maintain the soft serve machines. Work in conjunction with the General Manager and Assistant General Manager to ensure compliance with company policies and procedures while maintaining high standards of store presentation. Qualifications Excellent leadership skills with the ability to inspire and develop a diverse team. Experience in interviewing and recruiting talent for retail positions. Ability to analyze market trends and implement effective strategies to drive sales. Exceptional communication skills, both verbal and written, with a focus on customer service excellence. Strong knowledge of retail math and sales management principles. A proactive approach to problem-solving with strong organizational skills. Ability to confidently and constructively address staff mistakes, areas for improvement, and overlooked tasks. Learn as we rotate flavors or implement new items thoroughly and effectively train the team on how to prepare, serve, and promote them to customers.
