Retail Sales Assistant Manager - Hardware Store

We're Hiring a Retail Sales Assistant Manager! Our growing store is looking for a motivated Retail Sales Assistant Manager to help customers, support daily operations, and keep our sales floor running smoothly. This role is all about delivering excellent customer service and creating a positive shopping experience. Must be available on Saturdays. Must be able to lift 80 lbs. The ideal candidate is a hard worker and quick learner who enjoys a fast-paced environment and staying busy. Strong communication and teamwork skills are essential. Experience with lumber, electrical, plumbing, lawn and garden, paint, carpentry, HVAC, or general hardware is a big plus, but not required.

Responsibilities:

Assist customers on the sales floor and provide helpful product guidance Stock shelves and maintain inventory presentation Load customer orders and assist with carry-outs Fill propane tanks Perform general housekeeping and store upkeep Order product for the store Other manager duties
