Job Overview Every Saturday and Sunday - Join our dedicated healthcare team as a part-time Weekend House Supervisor, providing exceptional senior care and ensuring the smooth operation of our residential facility. 12 hours Saturday and Sunday . In this vital leadership role, you will oversee patient care activities, coordinate staff efforts, and maintain a safe, compassionate environment for residents with diverse needs. Your expertise in nursing management, patient assessment, and healthcare documentation will drive quality outcomes and enhance the well-being of our residents. Duties Supervise nursing staff and direct patient care activities during weekend shifts, ensuring adherence to clinical standards and safety protocols Oversee patient assessments, vital signs monitoring, and medication administration in compliance with HIPAA regulations and medical documentation standards Coordinate with interdisciplinary teams to facilitate discharge planning, behavioral health management, dementia care, and complex medical needs such as IV infusion or ventilator support Ensure accurate documentation using EMR (Electronic Medical Records) systems like Epic or Cerner, including medical records, intake forms, and incident reports Manage emergency situations by implementing airway management, acute pain management, or trauma response protocols aligned with Level I Trauma Center practices Conduct staff training on infection control, aseptic techniques, catheter care, and other clinical procedures such as phlebotomy or suturing Maintain a safe environment by performing routine safety checks, infection control measures, and compliance with OSHA standards Qualifications Valid RN (Registered Nurse) license with current state certification; experience in critical care settings preferred Demonstrated supervisory or nurse management experience in long-term care facilities or assisted living environments Strong knowledge of medical terminology, physiology, ICD-10/ICD-9 coding, and healthcare regulations including HIPAA Proficiency with EMR/EHR systems such as Epic, Cerner or Athenahealth; familiarity with medical imaging and diagnostic evaluation is a plus Experience working with individuals with disabilities or dementia; background in geriatrics highly desirable Ability to perform physical examinations, vital signs assessment, tube feeding management, and sterile procedures confidently Excellent communication skills for team coordination and family interactions; ability to work effectively in fast-paced acute or hospital medicine environments This role is perfect for motivated nurses eager to lead weekend teams while making a meaningful difference in seniors' lives.
