Job Summary We are seeking a Merchandising Assistant Store Manager to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will support store management in executing merchandising strategies, overseeing stock levels, and ensuring an exceptional shopping experience for customers. The ideal candidate will demonstrate leadership, organizational skills, and a comprehensive understanding of retail operations to drive sales and maintain store standards. Duties Assist in developing and implementing merchandising plans to optimize product presentation and inventory turnover. Support inventory management processes, including stock replenishment, stock rotation, and stock control procedures. Supervise daily store operations related to stocking, pricing, and promotional displays. Collaborate with management on purchasing decisions and vendor negotiations to ensure product availability and cost efficiency. Provide training and guidance to team members on merchandising standards, POS systems, and customer service protocols. Monitor sales performance metrics and adjust merchandising strategies accordingly to meet sales targets. Ensure compliance with store policies, safety regulations, and organizational standards in all merchandising activities. Experience Previous experience as an assistant manager or in a supervisory retail role with a focus on merchandising is preferred. Demonstrated proficiency in inventory control, POS systems, pricing strategies, and retail math. Strong leadership skills with experience in team management, training & development, and employee orientation. Knowledge of retail sales techniques, customer service excellence, and store management practices. Familiarity with budgeting, payroll processing, bookkeeping, and administrative responsibilities related to retail operations. Multilingual or bilingual abilities are advantageous for communicating effectively with diverse customer bases. Proven ability to manage time efficiently, prioritize tasks, and lead teams toward achieving sales goals. Pay:
$62,000.00 - $83,000.00 per year
