As we continue to grow across North America, we're looking for driven, hands-on leaders to build top-performing teams and drive operational excellence across all aspects of the restaurant. The Role The Assistant Store Manager is the heartbeat of the restaurant- responsible for day-to-day operations and creating unforgettable guest experiences. You'll lead both the Front and Back of House teams, drive performance and profitability, and uphold the high standards that define Barrio Burrito Bar. This role is ideal for someone with strong operational and leadership experience who's ready to run a high-volume, fast-casual restaurant like it's their own. Key Responsibilities Leadership & People Development Lead, coach, and inspire the entire FOH and BOH teams to deliver exceptional guest experiences and strong team culture. Training staff and other Franchise team members. Create schedules, manage labor targets, and ensure proper shift coverage. Foster a positive work environment with clear communication, accountability, and recognition. Operations Management Oversee all daily restaurant operations to ensure quality, speed, cleanliness, and safety standards are consistently met. Monitor and improve guest service, order accuracy, food presentation, and cleanliness across all service areas. Ensure compliance with all health, safety, sanitation, and food safety regulations. Manage shift execution, including opening and closing procedures. Financial Performance & Inventory Achieve and exceed sales targets, labor goals, and controllable costs. Oversee inventory management including ordering, waste control, and vendor relationships. Review and act on financial reporting to improve store performance and profitability. Guest Experience & Community Engagement Champion a guest-first culture and handle escalated customer concerns with professionalism and urgency. Lead local marketing initiatives and drive community presence and reputation. What We're Looking For 2+ years of experience in a managing or equivalent leadership role in QSR, fast casual, or similar environments. Must have "Serv safe food manager" certification. Proven ability to lead teams, drive results, and operate a high-volume restaurant with consistency and integrity. Strong knowledge of kitchen operations, food safety, and sanitation standards. Proficient in POS systems, scheduling platforms, and cost control systems. Exceptional organizational, time management, and communication skills. Availability to work a flexible schedule, including evenings, weekends, and holidays. A passion for hospitality, people, and building something great.
Pay:
$15.00 - $18.00 per hour
