Job Description

Auto Boutique Texas is seeking a highly organized and results-driven Vehicle Appearance Operations Manager to lead all vehicle appearance, detailing, and presentation operations. This position is responsible for managing daily workflow, supervising a team of detail technicians, maintaining quality standards, optimizing vehicle readiness, and ensuring all inventory meets company presentation standards. The ideal candidate combines strong leadership skills with operational planning, quality control, process improvement, inventory coordination, and performance analytics to maximize efficiency and vehicle presentation quality. Team Leadership & Operations Management Supervise, train, and develop a team of 6-7 vehicle appearance technicians. Create daily work schedules and assign priorities based on inventory needs. Monitor employee productivity, attendance, and performance. Conduct ongoing coaching, performance evaluations, and training initiatives. Maintain a safe, productive, and professional work environment. Inventory Readiness & Workflow Coordination Coordinate vehicle flow between purchasing, service, reconditioning, detailing, photography, and sales departments. Monitor vehicle readiness timelines and identify workflow bottlenecks. Prioritize inventory based on sales demand, aging reports, and retail objectives. Ensure vehicles are completed according to established production schedules. Track and report key operational metrics related to inventory readiness. Quality Control & Vehicle Presentation Standards (20%) Establish and enforce vehicle appearance and quality standards. Conduct final inspections to verify completion and presentation quality. Implement corrective actions for quality deficiencies. Ensure consistency in detailing procedures across all inventory categories. Monitor customer and management feedback to continuously improve presentation standards. Vendor & Supply Management (5%) Manage inventory of detailing supplies, chemicals, and equipment. Coordinate with vendors regarding pricing, procurement, and service requirements. Monitor departmental expenses and maintain budget awareness. Ensure proper maintenance of tools and operational equipment.
Pay:
$25.00 - $35.00 per hour
