Store Manager

Job Summary We are seeking a reliable and hands-on Store Manager to lead daily operations at a convenience store and fuel station. In this role, you will be responsible for managing staff, maintaining inventory, overseeing cash controls, and ensuring the store operates efficiently and cleanly at all times. This is a fast-paced, operational role where the manager is actively involved in the store and accountable for overall performance. Responsibilities Lead and supervise store staff, including hiring, training, scheduling, and performance management Manage daily store operations, including opening/closing procedures, cash handling, and POS system usage Monitor and reconcile daily cash activity and ensure accuracy of transactions Oversee inventory management, including ordering, receiving deliveries, stocking, and maintaining accurate counts Coordinate with vendors for regular and as-needed product deliveries Ensure all products are properly priced and entered into the POS system Monitor fuel inventory levels and implement fuel price changes as directed Maintain store cleanliness, organization, and overall presentation, including interior and exterior areas Handle basic maintenance needs and coordinate repairs when necessary Deliver strong customer service by resolving issues quickly and maintaining a welcoming environment Ensure compliance with company policies, cash handling procedures, and operational standards Qualifications Previous experience in retail, convenience store, or gas station management preferred Strong leadership and team management skills Experience with inventory control, ordering, and vendor coordination Comfortable handling cash reconciliation and daily financial accountability Familiarity with POS systems and retail operations Ability to work independently and manage multiple responsibilities Strong attention to detail and organizational skills Reliable transportation and flexible availability What We're Looking For Hands-on operator, not a desk manager Someone comfortable being in the store and solving problems in real time Strong sense of ownership and accountability Ability to manage both people and operations effectively Compensation & Growth Competitive base salary Performance-based bonus tied to store performance Opportunity for advancement as the business grows
