JOB SUMMARY
Full Time The Store Manager is responsible for overseeing all aspects of store operations, providing exceptional customer service, and ensuring operational efficiencies. This role involves managing staff, optimizing inventory, enforcing company policies, and creating a positive shopping experience for customers. The Store Manager serves as the primary leader in driving store performance, maintaining profitability, and an encouraging and collaborative team environment.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES
The duties listed below may not include all responsibilities that the person in this role may be asked to perform. Employee may be required to perform other related duties as assigned. Lead and supervise daily store operations. Awareness of store traffic and customer service needs. Handle customer inquiries, complaints, and escalations effectively. Attentiveness to safety, security, and suspicious activity. Develop strategies to enhance customer satisfaction and retention. Ensure the store is clean, organized, and visually appealing at all times. Execute approved promotional events to boost store traffic and sales. Manage schedules, daily activities, coaching, and development of the store's staff. Analyze data and implement improvement plans to address gaps in performance. Submit time and address payroll corrections of hourly staff for timely and accurate payroll processing. Review applicant information and onboard personnel including collecting all necessary new hire paperwork. Actively participate in inventory management including daily after-hours restock. Manage inventory procurement, including traveling to markets to select and purchase merchandise. Maintain confidentiality of company, customer, vendor, and contractor information obtained. Complete required training programs and certifications as assigned to ensure job readiness and compliance with company and job-specific standards. Comply with all federal and state laws and regulations, and all established company policies and procedures.
QUALIFICATIONS
The requirements listed below represent the minimum experience, knowledge, skills, and abilities needed to perform this role satisfactorily. High school diploma or equivalent (associate's/bachelor's degree preferred). Previous experience directly related to the essential duties of this role (3+ years preferred). Inventory Staff Cash handling o 10,000 sq. ft.+ Strong management, persuasion, customer service, and sales skills. Familiarity with cash handling and sales management systems. Bilingual (English and Spanish) is required. Ability to lift and move items 25 lbs. or heavier as needed. Proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook preferred. Effective communication skills. Flexibility to work weekends, evenings, and holidays as required. Positive attitude, strong work ethic, and a team player mentality. Ability to work with minimal supervision while performing assigned duties.
