The Shift Lead plays a key role in supporting store operations by providing leadership, guidance, and direction to team members. This position ensures excellent customer service, compliance with company policies, and achievement of store goals. The Shift Lead acts as a role model, demonstrating strong leadership skills while assisting the Store Manager and Assistant Manager with daily operations.

Key Responsibilities:

Supervise and support team members during assigned shifts to ensure smooth store operations. Provide coaching, training, and feedback to staff to promote high performance and teamwork. Lead by example to deliver excellent customer service and resolve customer issues promptly and professionally. Oversee cash handling procedures, including opening/closing registers, deposits, and safe counts. Ensure compliance with Walgreens policies, procedures, and operational standards. Monitor inventory levels and assist with restocking, merchandising, and maintaining store appearance. Assist in scheduling, delegating tasks, and tracking completion to maintain productivity. Act as manager-on-duty when Store Manager or Assistant Manager is not present.
