Summary - Double Oak Erosion is seeking a dependable, experienced, and hands-on Shop Manager to oversee the maintenance and repair operations for our fleet of trucks, trailers, and heavy equipment. This role is responsible for managing daily shop operations, coordinating preventative maintenance schedules, maintaining inventory and parts, and ensuring all equipment is operating safely and efficiently. The ideal candidate will have strong mechanical knowledge, leadership abilities, organizational skills, and experience managing a fast-paced maintenance environment. Responsibilities - Oversee daily maintenance and repair operations for company vehicles and equipment Ensure repairs and preventative maintenance are completed efficiently and on schedule Diagnose issues and assist with complex mechanical repairs when needed Maintain inventory of shop tools, supplies, and replacement parts Source and purchase necessary parts and materials for repairs and maintenance Manage maintenance schedules, work orders, and repair priorities Maintain a clean, safe, and organized shop environment Support management with special projects and operational needs Ensure compliance with all company safety policies, procedures, and quality standards Utilize Microsoft Office and computer systems for scheduling, tracking, and reporting Perform additional duties as assigned Qualifications Strong experience in equipment, fleet, and mechanical maintenance Ability to independently execute repairs and maintenance tasks Knowledge of purchasing, inventory management, and shop operations Experience with Microsoft Office and business-related computer programs required Strong time management and organizational skills Ability to communicate effectively and work well with management and crews Bilingual (English/Spanish) is a plus Must be dependable, safety-focused, and detail-oriented Ability to read, write, and follow instructions accurately Must be able to pass applicable testing as required Schedule & Work Environment Must be willing to work extended hours when necessary Overtime pay provided Why Join Double Oak Erosion?
