Assistant Manager - The Dog Stop

The Dog Stop® is looking for an enthusiastic Assistant Manager with retail, management, and customer service experience to help manage a doggie daycare, boarding, grooming, and retail store in Spring, TX. The Assistant Manager will work closely with the General Manager/Owner to set the right team culture! This position will be responsible for the entire facility, its staff, and all our human and canine guests! We are a fast-paced business. The candidate should be prepared to spend the entire shift on his/her feet. Multi-tasking and maintaining organization skills in a busy environment is a requirement. Knowledge of the dog care industry is a plus, but not required, provided the candidate is capable of quickly learning the ins and outs of our services and is ready for a dynamic team environment. We require a positive attitude, outgoing personality, dedication to providing an exceptional experience for our clientele, and of course, a love of dogs. The excellent care, comfort, safety, and happiness of our canine guests is our highest priority.

Primary functions include:

Necessary Qualifications:

2 years' experience in retail and customer service 3 professional references Excellent communication and strong customer service skills Basic computer skills Flexible schedule and ability to work weekends & holidays Base pay ranges between $16 - $20/hr, depending on experience, with overtime, incentives and career growth possible.
