Liquor Store Manager

Job Overview We are seeking a dynamic and motivated Liquor Store Manager to lead our retail team and oversee daily operations of our bustling liquor stores. Duties Lead and supervise store staff, including hiring, training, coaching, and evaluating performance to ensure high standards of customer service and operational efficiency Manage inventory control by monitoring stock levels, conducting regular audits, and coordinating purchasing to optimize product availability and minimize shrinkage Oversee all aspects of sales management, including pricing strategies, promotional activities, and merchandising to maximize revenue Handle cash management duties such as cashiering, cash handling procedures, and balancing registers at shift end Ensure compliance with all legal alcohol sale regulations and store policies while maintaining a safe environment for customers and staff Develop and implement marketing initiatives to attract new customers and retain existing ones. Coordinate with suppliers for purchasing needs and negotiate favorable terms to support store profitability Supervise daily store activities including stocking shelves, visual merchandising, and ensuring cleanliness and organization throughout the store Skills Strong leadership skills with proven experience in team management and employee development Excellent communication skills in multiple languages or bilingual abilities are highly valued for serving diverse customer bases Proficiency in inventory management systems (POS), retail math, pricing strategies, and sales management tools Demonstrated experience in retail sales, merchandising, stock replenishment, and customer service excellence Skilled in purchasing, budgeting, and financial oversight. Ability to train staff on store policies, safety procedures, cash handling protocols, and marketing initiatives Exceptional organizational skills with the ability to multitask efficiently in a fast-paced environment Experience supervising shifts in retail or settings with strong time management skills.
