Job Description

Position Summary The Assistant D.U.G Manager supports the D.U.G Manager in overseeing daily online fulfillment operations, team supervision, customer service execution, and order accuracy. This role helps ensure efficient order picking, staging, and delivery while maintaining high standards for productivity, safety, and customer satisfaction. Key Responsibilities Assist with daily D.U.G operations, including order picking, staging, dispensing, and delivery accuracy Support supervision, training, and development of D.U.G associates on processes, productivity standards, and customer service expectations Ensure online orders are fulfilled accurately, on time, and in accordance with company procedures Help manage labor, workload distribution, and task prioritization throughout the day Monitor order quality, substitutions, and customer satisfaction metrics Support execution of safety procedures, including parking lot, curbside, and equipment safety Assist with inventory accuracy, item availability, and communication with store departments Respond to customer inquiries, concerns, and service issues in a professional manner Communicate department conditions, performance results, and opportunities to store leadership Help maintain clean, organized staging areas, coolers, freezers, and workspaces Support new initiatives, technology updates, and process improvements for online fulfillment Uphold company standards for service, productivity, safety, and loss prevention Qualifications Previous retail, grocery, or e‑commerce fulfillment experience preferred Prior leadership, lead, or supervisory experience a plus Strong organizational, multitasking, and time management skills Ability to work in a fast‑paced, deadline‑driven environment Strong communication and customer service skills Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and work in refrigerated and frozen environments Flexibility to work varying shifts, including mornings, evenings, weekends, and holidays Core Competencies Operational execution Customer service excellence Team leadership and accountability Accuracy and attention to detail Safety and compliance focus
