Job Description

Hurst General Ace Hardware - Cedar City Utah Hurst General - Ace Hardware is accepting applications for the store manager position at our Cedar City location. Hurst General-Ace Hardware is a Utah based family owned and operated retailer operating Ace Hardware and general merchandise stores in St George, Cedar City, Heber City and Salt Lake City Utah. Our mission is to add value to the lives of our customers, employees, the communities we serve and our shareholders. The Ace Hardware corporation is the largest dealer owned co-op in the hardware sector with over 5,000 locations nationwide and strives to be the most helpful hardware store on the planet. Responsibilities The store manager is responsible for the day-to-day store operations, asset protection, sales growth, profitability, expense control, merchandising, customer experience and store culture. The role places strong emphasis on Customer First service. Coaching employees and responding to the needs of our customers and local communities through expanded and locally curated merchandising. Retail management/supervisory experience, leadership and communication skills, analytical ability, organizational and technical skills. Product knowledge relating to the home improvement industry.
