In this role, you'll take warm inbound leads and turn them into booked jobs through strong communication, accurate project understanding, and professional follow‑through. You'll be the bridge between homeowners who need outdoor improvements and our crews who bring those projects to life. If you're someone who knows how to talk construction, understands customer pain points, and can confidently close deals in a fast‑moving environment, this position gives you the chance to make a major impact and grow with a company that values results. Responsibilities Engage with qualified leads through phone, text, email, and in‑person consultations to convert inquiries into signed contracts. Provide clear, confident explanations of fencing and decking options, materials, timelines, and pricing. Conduct on‑site assessments when needed to understand project scope and present accurate solutions. Manage your pipeline using Jobber (or similar CRM) to track communication, follow‑ups, and deal progress. Build strong relationships with customers by offering honest guidance, answering questions, and ensuring a smooth sales experience. Negotiate terms and close deals while maintaining professionalism and integrity. Collaborate with the operations team to ensure smooth handoff from sales to production. Identify upsell opportunities such as gates, railings, upgrades, staining, or additional sections of fencing/decking. Stay aware of local market trends, competitor pricing, and customer expectations to improve close rates. Requirements Proven experience closing leads in fencing, decking, landscaping, construction, or home‑improvement sales . Strong understanding of outdoor construction materials, installation processes, and common customer concerns. Ability to manage a sales pipeline, follow up consistently, and close deals without being pushy. Excellent communication and negotiation skills with a customer‑first mindset. Comfortable conducting on‑site visits and explaining technical details in simple terms. Experience using CRM platforms such as Jobber, Salesforce, or similar tools. Self‑driven, organized, and able to work independently while hitting sales targets. Strong analytical skills to evaluate lead quality, identify opportunities, and improve sales strategy.
