SEASONAL MARINE STORE ASSISTANT MANAGER

Job Overview We are seeking a motivated, customer service expert! Seasonal Marine Store Assistant Manager to help our retail team during our busy season. Boating knowledge and great customer service is very important to us. This would be an excellent position for any college student looking to work hard over the summer months. Did we say customer service? We need someone patient, understanding, and someone who can fit it with our culture. We have been in business since 1990 and pride ourselves in knowing our product and being able to help any customer that walks through our doors. Duties Supervise daily store operations, including opening and closing procedures, cash handling, and POS (Point of Sale) transactions Manage inventory control by overseeing stock levels, ordering purchasing supplies, and conducting regular stock audits Handle customer inquiries with professionalism, ensuring excellent service and resolving issues promptly Be willing to help all customers, and focus on customer needs at all times Skills Showing up on time with a great attitude. Strong leadership qualities with excellent communication skills to motivate staff and engage customers Be able to make eye contact and connect with customers. Skilled in inventory management, purchasing, and stock control techniques Proficient in POS systems, retail math calculations, cash handling, and cashiering procedures Exceptional organizational skills with the ability to multitask efficiently during busy periods Strong time management skills to prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environmentThis seasonal opportunity is perfect for energetic leaders eager to make an impact in a lively marine retail setting.
