Job Description

The Community Health Center of the New River Valley in Christiansburg, VA is seeking an experienced, motivated, and team-oriented Practice Manager to oversee operations across our four clinic locations in the New River Valley region. This is an exciting leadership opportunity for someone who is passionate about healthcare operations, staff development, patient experience, and creating efficient, high-performing clinic environments. The Practice Manager plays a key leadership role in ensuring smooth day-to-day operations across multiple sites while supporting providers, staff, and patients through strong communication, operational excellence, and a collaborative approach. Key Responsibilities Oversee daily operations for multiple clinic locations Support efficient patient flow and exceptional customer service Supervise and support front desk Coordinate staffing coverage, scheduling, and workflow optimization Conduct staff meetings, training, coaching, and performance evaluations Monitor clinic performance metrics and implement operational improvements Ensure compliance with HIPAA, OSHA, HRSA, NCQA, and organizational policies Partner with departments including HR, Finance, IT, and Compliance Maintain a professional, organized, and patient-centered environment across all sites Travel regularly between clinic locations to provide on-site operational support Track and manage operational data Qualifications High school diploma or equivalent required Associates degree or higher in healthcare administration, business, or related field preferred Must have previous healthcare practice management experience Multi-site healthcare management experience preferred Strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills Ability to work independently while fostering a collaborative team culture Experience with electronic medical records and Microsoft Office programs What We're Looking For The ideal candidate is a proactive problem-solver who thrives in a fast-paced healthcare environment and enjoys building strong teams, improving processes, and supporting quality patient care. Pay:
From $65,000.00 per year
