One weekend day (Saturday or Sunday) is required each week. If you're available both Saturday and Sunday—even better! Please note that holidays and the summer season are our busiest times, so we do need advance planning and a strong commitment during these peak periods.
Position Summary:
The WB Grocery Manager oversees all aspects of the Grocery, Dairy, and Frozen departments, ensuring that product selection, pricing, and presentation align with company goals for service, profitability, and appearance. This role provides leadership and direction to the grocery/cashiering team, coordinates with other buyers and managers, and ensures that customers experience a well-stocked, clean, and vibrant store environment.

Inventory Manager Key Roles and Responsibilities:
Lead, Manage, and Hold Accountable (LMA) Manage the schedule of grocery stockers and cashiers to ensure adequate coverage. Train and mentor staff, setting clear expectations and holding them accountable for performance and productivity. Lead by example—model professionalism, teamwork, and Woodstock Farmers' Market values. Ensure the store always looks its best and reflects brand standards. Model Extra-Mile Service Provide exceptional service to staff, customers, and vendors—no exceptions. Set and uphold high standards of service, communication, and safety across the department. Encourage a culture of hospitality, teamwork, and problem-solving. Buying / COG / Inventory Management Purchase all products for Grocery, Dairy, and Frozen categories. Ensure accurate receiving, pricing, signage, and shelf tags within the ECRS system. Maintain category cost of goods (COG) targets: under 59% for Grocery and 72% for Dairy. Ensure proper product rotation, stocking, and storage, always. Conduct regular cycle counts and coordinate with the Inventory Manager to true up inventory. Merchandising and Promo Planning Design and execute creative, abundant, and attractive displays. Anticipate holidays, seasons, and promotional events with proactive display planning. Maintain INFRA pricing and signage for A/B sales and other promotions. Coordinate with Woodstock buyers on seasonal buy-ins, features, and promotions to maintain a cohesive "look and feel" between locations. Coordination and Communication Work closely with the Woodstock Grocery and Inventory departments to align pricing, promotions, and displays. Share information regularly to ensure consistency in product presentation and merchandising across both stores.
Additional Responsibilities:
Manage daily sampling and assist with coordinating product demos. Partner with the Operations Manager to ensure the store is cleaned and maintained daily. Identify, evaluate, and onboard new products that enhance selection and sales. Perform other duties as assigned.
