It is a full-time, non-union, exempt position. This position exercises management and supervisory responsibilities over all Light Department personnel for budgeting, planning, operation and maintenance of the Light Department. This position performs a wide variety of complex administrative and managerial work in overseeing all aspects of Light Department responsibilities and assigns complex organizational work along with a wide variety of regular and recurring procedures. These procedures include but are not limited to daily management and supervision of Light Department operations and maintenance tasks, permitting, plan reviews, training, reports, grant writing, inventory, work orders, purchasing, quotes, invoice processing, and department budget.
