Duties Lead and supervise daily store operations, ensuring smooth workflow and excellent customer service. Oversee inventory management, including stock replenishment, merchandising, and inventory control to maximize sales opportunities. Manage employee orientation, training & development to foster a motivated and skilled team. Conduct interviewing and recruiting processes to build a strong workforce aligned with company standards. Handle payroll processing, cash handling, and bookkeeping tasks accurately and efficiently. Utilize POS (Point of Sale) systems for sales transactions, pricing adjustments, and sales management. Implement marketing strategies and promotional activities to boost store visibility and sales performance. Supervise shift management, ensuring proper staffing levels and effective time management across all departments. Maintain excellent communication with team members through phone etiquette, organizational skills, and leadership. Monitor sales metrics using retail math principles to achieve sales targets and optimize store profitability. Requirements Proven experience in retail management or as an assistant manager with supervising responsibilities. Strong skills in negotiation, customer service, and employee orientation. Multilingual or bilingual abilities are highly desirable to serve diverse customer bases effectively. Demonstrated expertise in recruiting, training & development, and team management. Proficiency with inventory management systems, POS technology, cash handling, and bookkeeping. Knowledge of retail math for pricing strategies, budgeting, and sales analysis. Excellent communication skills combined with organizational abilities for effective shift management. Experience in grocery stores or similar retail environments is a plus.
