Full-time Moses Lake, Washington, United States (On-site) Job description The purpose and responsibilities of the General Manager is to maintain and improve the overall efficiency and profitability of Lad. This position reports directly to the COO and requires frequent meetings and updates with the COO to ensure adequate vision, direction and management is extended through the organization. The ideal candidate will be enthusiastic about fostering growth in the rapidly expanding irrigation market. Essential qualities include strong leadership abilities, effective project management, strategic planning skills, adept problem-solving capabilities, and exemplary team leadership qualities. Role Description This is a full-time, on-site General Manager role based in Moses Lake, WA. The General Manager will oversee daily operations to ensure efficiency and productivity within the organization. Responsibilities include managing the operations team, coordinating scheduling and logistics, streamlining workflows, and optimizing resource allocation. The role also involves addressing operational challenges, monitoring key performance indicators, and driving continuous improvement to meet organizational goals. Qualifications

  • Knowledge of irrigation systems, products, or agricultural industry is a strong advantage
  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Operations Management, or a related field preferred

Property Upkeep:
Maintain and evaluate building and yard conditions to ensure a consistently professional appearance.
    Grounds Maintenance:
    Manage seasonal needs including weed control, snow removal, and the upkeep of debris and gravel.
      Security Oversight:
      Ensure the integrity and functionality of all security systems, including fencing, doors, and alarms.
        Resource Quality:
        Monitor the condition and quality of all office furnishings and equipment.
          Strategic Alignment:
          Collaborate with the COO to implement asset management strategies and ensure regulatory compliance. Fleet Management
            Asset Maintenance:
            Oversee equipment status and enforce rigorous maintenance and upkeep standards.
              Program Implementation:
              Execute and uphold the Lad vehicle maintenance and inspection programs.
                Policy Compliance:
                Ensure strict adherence to all company vehicle policies.
                  Systems Monitoring:
                  Manage and supervise assigned fleet monitoring technology and data.
                    Executive Support:
                    Execute additional fleet-related responsibilities as directed by the COO. Personnel Leadership
                      Performance Management:
                      Partner with department staff to meet established expectations and drive profitability.
                        Process Optimization:
                        Work with administrative teams to streamline workflows and improve efficiency.
                          Production Oversight:
                          Lead production staff in the electrical, welding, and pump segments to maximize output.
                            Departmental Supervision:
                            Manage daily parts department activities, focusing on inventory control, retail sales, and customer service.
                              Cross-Functional Synergy:
                              Coordinate activities across departments to maximize territory-wide profitability.
                                Professional Development:
                                Lead, mentor, and develop all direct reports according to the organizational chart. General Manager/Operational Responsibilities
                                  Strategic Oversight:
                                  Monitor territory fleet and equipment status, reporting critical needs directly to the COO.
                                    Compliance & Safety:
                                    Implement L&I regulations and adhere to safety programs and licensing requirements as directed by executive leadership.
                                      Service Department Leadership:
                                      Provide direct oversight of the service department, focusing on best practices, project efficiency, and leadership succession training.
                                        Inventory & Data Integrity:
                                        Lead annual inventory processes and utilize Business Central to track territory progress and improve paperwork accuracy.
                                          Technical Proficiency:
                                          Maintain expert-level knowledge of company software and provide hands-on support at the parts counter when necessary.
                                            Operational Continuity:
                                            Manage staff scheduling, cross-train personnel to cover absences, and ensure adequate coverage across all stores in the territory.
                                              Quality Control:
                                              Evaluate quoting, ordering, and invoicing workflows to maintain company standards.
                                                HR & Conduct:
                                                Identify and address misconduct per company policy; manage hiring and disciplinary actions in coordination with HR and the COO.
                                                  Business Growth:
                                                  Identify expansion opportunities and consult with the COO on growth strategies.
                                                    Customer & Team Relations:
                                                    Build strong customer relationships, resolve grievances, and coordinate assets with other territory leaders to promote teamwork and profitability.
                                                      Engagement:
                                                      Participate in production, sales, and management meetings to remain aligned with company products, services, and goals.
                                                      Pay:
                                                      $95,000.00 - $160,000.00 per year
