The Store Manager is responsible to ensure all company standards, expectations are achieved and met. Ensuring all state and local health and safety practices are executed and met. Along with providing leadership, management, and oversight of the day to day operations of a busy stand/drive thru. The Manager serves as a model of exceptional customer service and detailed product knowledge. Who can coach, problem solve, develop and motivate people, utilizing their experience, passion, knowledge and professionalism. The Manager works closely and collaboratively with the Regional Manager to review, set and achieve assigned budgets, and goals, implementing a collaborated business plan and personal growth plan, with outcomes that support bonus opportunities and the overall health of the business and operations. Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
Provides functional Leadership and oversight of daily floor operations as directed; Guides efficient operational flow and effective communication on the floor; Consistently checks preparation and presentation standards on espresso and all crafted beverages; Exemplifies exceptional customer service to all guests; Aids Barista Trainer in training new baristas, evaluating shadow shifts as assigned, and provides initial performance review feedback to barista trainer. Supports the roll out of new coffees, crafted drinks, retail, merchandise and recipes. Serves as a resource to all team members re: all coffees, ensuring team members can communicate knowledgeably with customers about them, and keeps coffee resource and training binder and materials up to date; Excites staff when new coffees, retail and promos launch and champions the value of further coffee training education and latte art. Manages and oversees the in house Food Menu Program. Working with the onsite Food Prep Team through developement and planning of quarterly/seasonal menus. Implementing new ideas, recipes and preparations. Host, Lead and Participates in regular meetings with store and admin leadership teams. Supervisory Responsibilities:
The Manager provides the overall supervisory and functional responsibility for the store team members and operations. The Manager is responsible for executing and upholding all SOP and expectations. If SOP or expectations are not met, the Manager is responsible for any reports, incidents or disciplinary actions with collaborative support from RM and HR. The Manager is responsible for team member performance reviews and team member promotion requests that are sent to RM and HR for approval. The Manager is responsible for all hiring and terminating of team members. Qualifications:

Previous experience with coffee and / or service industry preferred but not required. 3 years in Leadership or Management positions managing people and/or retail operaions. Communication is essential to any success. Must be able to clearly communicate in a respectful, mature and professional manner when serving or communicating our guests, team members, venders, delivery drivers, maintenance teams, representatives or company administration, when in person, over phone, in email/text or chat communication channels. Certificates and Licenses:
WA State Food Handler's Card immediately upon hire. ServSafe Manager Certification within 6 months of hire. Language Skills:
Ability to read and interpret documents such as rules, policies, instructions, financial documents, through word, excel and keynote programs. Ability to speak effectively with customers, co-workers, and managers. Math Skills:
Ability to calculate figures and amounts such as discounts, proportions, percentages, area, circumference, and volume. Ability to apply concepts of basic algebra and geometry. Reasoning Ability:
Ability to solve problems and deal with a variety of concrete variables insituations where only limited standardization exists. Ability to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram, or schedule form. Physical Demands and Work Environment:
To perform the job, the employee is frequently required to talk and hear in person with individuals. The incumbent will carry items weighing up to 50 lbs. Prolong standing, walking, bending, reaching, twisting for periods averaging 4-7 hours per shift, but not limited to, and can exceed longer periods periodically. The incumbent is required to read and respond to documents in hard copy and electronic form. The work will require the consumption of caffeine while on shift. The work is typically performed in a restaurant like business, with a moderate noise level. Manager Requirements/ Benefits/ Pay Starting pay: $21.16 - 21.66 per hour + daily tips with 90 day performance review with potential increase. Two year minimum commitment Three year minimum experience in Management or Leadership roles/positions. Must be able to maintain minimum 30 scheduled hours a week (Monday-Sunday) or 60 hours per 14 day pay period.
