What You'll Do Lead on the floor: Greet every customer, spark friendly sports conversations, and deliver knowledgeable product recommendations. Set pace and standards for service, selling behaviors, and add‑on recommendations. Drive results:
Set, track, and achieve monthly sales targets and KPIs; analyze performance and pivot plans in real time. Champion a strong selling culture through daily huddles, goal setting, and recognition. Run operations:
Oversee merchandising standards, inventory accuracy, price changes, and replenishment. Ensure daily cash handling excellence:
balance the daily closeout sheet and maintain POS accuracy. Manage opening/closing routines, loss prevention, and store cleanliness. Build the team:
Recruit, hire, train, and schedule a high‑performing team. Coach for skill and accountability; deliver feedback, recognition, and clear expectations. Create weekly schedules that balance traffic patterns, labor plans, and team availability. Elevate the brand:
Keep the store organized and shoppable, showcasing the latest local, college, and pro team gear. Foster community by engaging fans about games, drafts, and hometown teams. What We're Looking For A naturally sociable person who enjoys talking with everyone-initiating conversations is your superpower. If not, this position is not for you. A self‑starter with strong professional motivation and follow‑through. Passion for sports and fan culture (local, college, and professional). Retail experience:
1+ years. Management or leadership experience (keyholder, shift lead, assistant manager, etc.): 1+ years. Excellent interpersonal skills; natural conversation starter who connects with everyone. Strong selling aptitude; goal‑oriented with a track record of hitting targets. Organized, detailed‑oriented, and reliable under pressure. Proficient with POS systems and cash handling; able to balance daily closeout sheets. Able to motivate others to perform and uphold standards. Schedule & Requirements Open availability that includes weekdays, evenings, and weekends. 18+ and authorized to work in the U.S. Able to stand for extended periods and occasionally lift up to 40 lbs.
