Position Summary :
The Deli Supervisor collaborates directly with the ADM (Assistant Department Manager) to maintain day-to-day department operations, ensuring alignment with department and store objectives. They actively engage in training and developing the staff, focusing on enhancing task efficiency and promoting positive customer service behaviors. As the initial point of contact, they address employee behavioral matters promptly, maintaining a harmonious work environment. The supervisor directs the staff's activities and effectively manages lunch and break schedules. They uphold adherence to health department and company policies, providing a safe eating and workplace experience. They handle customer concerns in real-time, finding resolution to ensure customer satisfaction. The supervisor monitors product inventory levels to meet the department's RFB standards. Leading by example, the Deli Supervisor showcases excellent customer service, ensuring that all staff follow company policies, guidelines, and procedures. They report to both the DM (Department Manager) and ADM, and work in partnership with RCS (Retail Central Services) Team.
Position's Key Responsibilities :
Maintain the Environment and Culture of the Department. Provide Training for Staff. Maintain Vendor, Customer, and RCS Relations. Maintain Compliance of Food & Workplace Safety. Maintain Proper Ordering Practices. Provide Direction to Staff for Completion of Daily Tasks & Goals. Support Customer-Facing Service Stations. Other duties as assigned
Starting Pay:
$23.35/hr., Depending on
Experience Salary Range:

Position Requirements :
Must be at least 18 years of age. Minimum of a High school diploma or equivalent plus 3-4 years of experience in area of specialization. Minimum of three years prior cooking experience (if supervising kitchen staff). Prior supervisory experience preferred. Prior customer service experience required. Basic math skills and proficient in Microsoft Office-Word, Excel and Outlook. Ability to multi-tasks and prioritize. Flexible schedule. Current Food Handler's permit. Must be able to lift at least 50 lbs.
