Job Description

Parts Manager - Marine Dealership Windward Boats - Kailua, Hawaiʻi Windward Boats, one of Hawaiʻi's leading marine dealerships, is seeking an experienced and motivated Parts Manager to join our team in beautiful Kailua on Oʻahu. This is an excellent opportunity for someone with a strong marine parts background who enjoys helping boaters, managing inventory, and leading the parts department of a growing dealership. You will be responsible for creating an outstanding retail experience for our boating customers while overseeing daily parts operations, inventory management, and support for our service department. Responsibilities Assist customers with retail parts inquiries, price quotes, and product information by phone, email, and at the parts counter Create and process special orders with vendors Generate purchase orders for stock inventory and customer special orders Verify payment before releasing special-order parts Maintain accurate inventory levels and conduct regular inventory counts Receive inventory shipments, inspect products, price merchandise, and stock shelves Maintain pricing labels and merchandising throughout the store Keep the parts department clean, organized, and customer-friendly Coordinate parts orders for service and warranty work Ensure warranty and return parts are processed correctly and vendor credits are received Train and assist parts counter personnel Help customers identify the correct parts using electronic parts lookup systems for: Honda Marine Mercury Marine Yamaha Outboards Manage retail accessories, electronics, and engine parts inventory Salary DOE. The posted salary range is intended for qualified candidates entering the position. Windward Boats is willing to offer higher compensation for an exceptional candidate with extensive marine dealership parts management experience and a proven track record of success. Qualifications Required:
Minimum 3 years of marine dealership or marine parts retail experience Strong knowledge of marine parts, accessories, and electronics Experience with Honda, Mercury, and/or Yamaha parts systems Excellent customer service and communication skills Strong organizational and inventory management abilities Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities
Preferred:
