Job Description

Store Manager Position:
Store Manager Purpose:
To inspire and infuse new health, new energy into the lives of people.
Summary:
The holder of this job contributes to NUYU Juice Bar's success by leading a team of NUYU team members to create the NUYU Juice Bar experience. Store managers oversee and ensure Lead Juice Specialists and Juice Specialists duties are being performed and reach NUYU standard. Store managers handle and ensure that all gross sales, profitability and quality goals are met. NUYU store managers also ensure efficient restaurant operation and maintain high production, productivity, quality, and customer-service standards.
Work Hours and Rate of Pay:
An average of 30 hours a week at minimum wage +$2, plus tips Reports to:
Owner Responsibilities:
Coordinate the entire juice bar operation according to NUYU guidelines Deliver superior guest services and ensure absolute customer satisfaction Respond efficiently and respectfully to customer complaints Enforce and offer the best quality of products possible Organize and supervise shifts Appraise personnel's performance and provide feedback to keep employees upbeat and productive Estimate consumption, forecast requirements and help Lead Juice Specialist maintain inventory effectively Monitor compliance with sanitation and safety rules and regulations Control costs by making sure everything is bought at the lowest price and minimize waste based on the company's objectives Successfully promote and publicize the brand in a way that represents NUYU accurately Create and schedule social media posts Nurture a positive working environment and lead by example through keeping a positive attitude at all times Monitor operations and initiate corrective actions Empty till and deposit cash Make sure work environment upholds NUYU values and purpose Complete all reporting requested by ownership in an organized, efficient, and prompt manner
Requirements:
Strong leadership, motivational and people skills Must be able to be on their feet and have use of all limbs for several hours at a time without accommodation Active food handlers license Proven work experience in a restaurant/coffee bar service, preferably as a manager or assistant manager Demonstrated experience in customer service management Strong customer service skills Technology literacy and familiarity with restaurant management software Acute financial management skills and bookkeeping knowledge Outstanding communication skills Excellent cleanliness and organizational skills Knowledge of health codes and labor laws Ability to work in a fast-paced, team environment while keeping a positive attitude
NOTE:
The functions and responsibilities contained in this position description are not all inclusive. Other duties and requirements may be assigned at any time. Supervisors are empowered to make decisions but must be aware that they will be held accountable for any café property lost or unnecessarily used by themselves or the staff they are supervising at the time. Repeated examples may lead to the removal of the supervisor status of the employee concerned.

$19.13 per hour
