Job Description
Overview Join our dynamic team as a Produce Manager and lead the fresh produce department with enthusiasm and expertise! In this vital role, you will oversee daily operations, ensure the highest quality standards, and create an inviting shopping experience for our customers. Your leadership will drive team performance, optimize inventory management, and uphold safety and sanitation protocols. Responsibilities Manage all aspects of the produce department, including stocking, merchandising, and inventory control to maximize sales and minimize waste. Lead, motivate, and develop a team of associates through effective training, coaching, and performance management. Oversee purchasing decisions, pricing strategies, and product displays to attract customers and boost sales. Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations, sanitation standards, and store policies at all times. Conduct regular inventory audits, manage stock levels using retail math principles, and coordinate with suppliers for timely deliveries. Handle customer inquiries with excellent service skills while resolving issues promptly to maintain high satisfaction levels. Skills Proven experience in retail management or grocery store operations with a focus on produce or perishables. Strong leadership skills with previous supervisory or assistant manager experience in a retail setting. Excellent communication skills; bilingual or multilingual abilities are a plus to serve diverse customer bases. Skilled in employee training & development, and supervising staff effectively. Exceptional organizational skills with attention to detail in stock control, pricing strategies, and store presentation.
