Job Description

Overview Join our small, but busy, dynamic team as a Body Shop Manager Plus Technician, where you'll lead and execute high-quality auto body repairs while managing daily shop operations. This role combines hands-on technical expertise with leadership responsibilities to ensure efficient workflow, exceptional customer service, and top-tier vehicle restoration. You'll play a vital part in transforming damaged vehicles into like-new condition, all while fostering a positive, safety-conscious work environment. Responsibilities Oversee the repair process from estimate to completion, ensuring all work meets quality standards and customer expectations Perform advanced auto body repairs including sheet metal work, auto painting, auto glass replacement, and auto restoration techniques Utilize MIG welding, soldering, power tools, and hand tools to fabricate and repair vehicle structures and panels Manage shop workflow by assigning tasks to technicians, monitoring progress, and ensuring timely completion of repairs Maintain accurate auto estimating documentation and communicate effectively with Insurance Companies and customers regarding repair status Uphold safety protocols by properly handling equipment like airless paint sprayers and welding tools while maintaining a clean work environment Experience Proven dealership experience or extensive background in automotive repair shops specializing in auto body work Skilled in MIG welding, fabrication, sheet metal work, and auto painting techniques including airless paint spraying Strong mechanical knowledge with hands-on experience in auto glass installation, auto restoration, and vehicle assembly Familiarity with auto estimating software and customer service best practices for transparent communication with clients and insurance companies Ability to perform heavy lifting safely and operate power tools efficiently Prior experience managing or supervising a team of technicians is highly desirable Knowledge of automotive repair standards, safety regulations, and quality control processes Join us to lead a talented team dedicated to excellence in automotive repair! Pay:
$78,000.00 - $150,000.00 per year
