Job Description

The Role Parking Supervisor -Three Bridges Train Station. Full Time, Monday to Friday. £28,080 per annum We are seeking an experienced and people-focused Parking Supervisor with a full UK driving licence to lead frontline operations in Three Bridges. Join APCOA as a Parking Supervisor and play an important role in delivering safe, compliant and customer-focused parking operations across a busy rail contract. At APCOA, we are looking for a confident, proactive and professional Parking Supervisor to support the Thameslink Southern Great Northern Limited contract based in Three Bridges. This is an excellent opportunity for a motivated supervisor or team leader to take ownership of day-to-day car park operations, lead a team of patrol attendants, and help deliver operational excellence, compliance, KPI performance and customer satisfaction across the GTR estate. Working closely with the Operations Manager, you will contribute to effective service delivery, stakeholder communication and a consistently high standard of frontline operations. This is a full-time position working Monday to Friday, either 8:00am to 4:00pm or 9:00am to 5:00pm, with occasional weekend or bank holiday cover where required to support operational needs. What you'll do Lead, coach and support frontline teams to deliver excellent operational performance, customer service and achievement of key service KPIs. Coordinate staffing levels, rota planning and site coverage to ensure efficient, compliant and customer-focused parking operations. Carry out regular site inspections, audits and performance checks to maintain high standards of safety, presentation and service delivery. Monitor operational performance, identify areas for continuous improvement, and take prompt action to resolve issues effectively. Respond professionally to parking, security and operational incidents, ensuring timely escalation and resolution where appropriate. Support inductions, frontline training, frontline coaching and performance management to build an engaged, capable and high-performing team. Ensure compliance with company procedures, health and safety standards, operational processes and employee communications. Work collaboratively with the Operations Manager and wider internal teams to resolve ANPR, Parkway and site-related operational matters within agreed service levels. Undertake additional duties as required to support the wider contract, business objectives and continuous improvement of service delivery. What you'll bring: Previous supervisory or team leadership experience within parking operations, rail operations, customer service, facilities, enforcement or any other frontline operational environment. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to lead by example and build trusted working relationships. Strong organisational and time management skills, with the ability to prioritise workloads and manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment. A proactive, solutions-focused approach, with confidence in managing incidents, resolving operational challenges and supporting continuous improvement. Knowledge of health and safety, compliance procedures and operational standards, with a commitment to maintaining a safe working environment. A full UK driving licence is essential for this role.
