Brand Coordinator, Hobby (Gundam Base) Bandai Namco Toys and Collectibles America Inc. - 3.4 Irvine, CA Job Details $23 - $26 an hour 3 hours ago Qualifications Spreadsheets Full Job Description Brand Coordinator, Hobby The Hobby Brand Coordinator will serve as a key support role for Bandai Hobby business operations at Bandai Namco Cross Store and other directly operated stores, while supporting Gundam Base events, Premium Bandai initiatives, and Gundam Assemble activities. This role will coordinate with cross-functional teams including product marketing, sales, and operations to support retail activations, promotional initiatives and consumer engagement activities. The Coordinator will assist with event planning, store support, product coordination, data tracking, and operational tasks in a fast-paced environment with a high volume of ongoing initiatives. This position offers the opportunity to gain experience across retail operations, event execution, online marketing, and brand support, with potential for expanded responsibilities over time.
ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS
Support hobby business operations for Bandai Namco Cross Store and other directly operated stores, including product coordination, store communication, and operational support Support Gundam Base event operations, including event preparation, pull list creation, onsite coordination, and post-event follow-up Support Premium Bandai initiatives, including product setup coordination, promotional support, and sales tracking Support Gundam Assemble initiatives, including organized play support, event coordination, and community-related activities Create and maintain reports, sales tracking files, and business data in clear and organized formats Assist directly operated stores business with preparation for new stores opening, offer preparations, data tracking of sales and visitor numbers, and announcements through social media that we own Assist Premium Bandai business with product registration to the designated e-com system that we use, and announcements through social media that we own Monitor market trends and consumer activities within the hobby and entertainment industry Support cross-functional projects and company initiatives involving multiple departments and brands Assist with meeting coordination, information sharing, and administrative support related to hobby business operations Perform additional operational and coordination tasks as assigned
REQUIRED SKILLS AND ABILITIES CORE SKILLS
Strong organizational and multitasking skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities. Detail-oriented with strong follow-through and accountability. Strong written and verbal communication skills.
JOB SPECIFIC SKILLS
Basic proficiency in Microsoft Excel and data tracking. Japanese language skills or familiarity with Japanese culture is a plus but not required. Interest in hobby, collectibles, or pop culture.
JOB REQUIREMENTS EDUCATIONAL REQUIREMENTS
Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business, Communications, or a related field, or equivalent experience.
EXPERIENCE AND WORK REQUIREMENTS 1-3
years of experience in events, marketing, sales support, or a related field.

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS
Ability to sit for extended periods during regular office work; ability to stand and walk for extended periods (up to 8+ hours) during trade shows and events.
