Job Description
We are looking for an enthusiastic, bubbly retail Sales Assistant with an energetic and cheerful personality to help customers identify and purchase custom cakes and desserts for their special events and venues. Sales assistant duties will include selling to individual consumers and luxury event planners. The goal is to provide excellent customer service and to increase company's growth and revenue through maximizing sales. Responsibilities (In-store) Work directly with customers (via phone call, text, social media, email, and walk-in) at the store Learn to price custom orders to provide the customer with a quick, efficient quality experience Provide clerical assistance to the manager Ensure high levels of customer satisfaction through excellent sales service matched with a friendly personality Know the location of all items in the store Maintain outstanding store condition and visual merchandising standards Maintain a clean and organized work area Maintain a fully stocked retail area Ascertain customers' needs and wants Recommend and display items that match customer needs Welcome and greet customers Manage point-of-sale processes Actively involve in the receiving of new shipments Keep up to date with product information Accurately describe product features and benefits Follow all companies policies and procedures Responsibilities (Outside Sales) Work directly with luxury event planners and venues (via phone call, text, social media, email, and walk-in) at their place of business Gather quality leads that align with the company's vision Professionally provide wholesale pricing to businesses with a quick, efficient quality experience Maintain a relationship with the business that supports regular ordering Ensure high levels of customer satisfaction through excellent sales service matched with a friendly personality Skills Proven work experience in sales Basic understanding of sales principles and customer service practices Proficiency in English Track record of over-achieving sales quota Solid communication and interpersonal skills Customer service focus Tech-savvy (proficiency with Mac is a plus) Multi-tasking Friendly, helpful, confident and engaging personality Administration skills (filing by chronological order, organizing, copying, scanning, printing, etc) High school degree
