Sales Assistant

Job Title:

Sales Assistant Job Description Support Sales Managers by addressing customer needs, entering orders, and processing return authorizations. Provide excellent customer service through various communication channels and maintain thorough records. Responsibilities Support two Sales Managers with customer needs. Enter customer orders and quotes into the computer system. Process Return Authorizations. Research and follow up on customer orders. Make occasional phone calls to supplier partners, corporate office teams, and customers for back office support. Work extensively in Microsoft Excel for order entry and reporting purposes. Assist in general clerical work such as email/phone correspondence and filing. Enter, process, and maintain Quality event records. Follow up with customers regarding Accounts Receivable when needed. Essential Skills Proficiency in customer service Experience in account management Strong data entry skills Order processing experience Proficiency in Microsoft Office, especially Excel Minimum of two years of business experience Work Environment Work in a small office setting that emphasizes cultural fit. The environment is collaborative, requiring interaction with various departments and external partners. Dress code is business casual. Job Type & Location This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Urbandale, IA. Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $19.00 - $20.00/hr.
