About the Role As a Sales Assistant, you will be the face of our client's brand on the sales floor. You will actively welcome customers, handle product inquiries, assist with selections, and ensure every interaction reflects our commitment to an outstanding shopping experience. Your goal is to guide customers to the right solutions while driving store performance and brand loyalty. Key Responsibilities Customer Consultation & Sales Floor Support Greet customers warmly as they enter, identify their specific requirements, and guide them to appropriate products. Provide accurate and detailed information about product features, pricing, current promotions, and store policies. Confidently identify opportunities to cross-sell or up-sell relevant products and services to maximize customer value. Handle customer inquiries and resolve complaints efficiently, turning potential service challenges into positive brand experiences. Merchandising & Inventory Operations Maintain an organized, clean, and visually appealing sales floor according to merchandising guidelines. Assist with restocking shelves, processing incoming inventory, and tracking product availability in the store database. Navigate point-of-sale (POS) systems to process transactions, check prices, and look up customer account details accurately. Adhere to store procedures, loss prevention protocols, and safety standards during all daily operations. Performance & Team Collaboration Meet or exceed key retail performance metrics, including individual sales goals, store conversion rates, and qualitative customer satisfaction scores. Work closely with floor managers and team members to ensure smooth daily store operations and coverage. Participate in regular team meetings, coaching sessions, and ongoing client product training. Contribute to a positive, high-energy, and goal-oriented store culture. What We're Looking For Outstanding verbal communication and interpersonal skills with a natural ability to connect with people. A friendly, outgoing, and customer-first mindset. Strong problem-solving, active listening, and objection-handling abilities. Ability to multitask, stand for extended periods, and stay organized in a fast-paced retail environment. Reliable attendance, strong punctuality, and a high level of accountability.
