Job Title:
Sales Support Administrator Job Description The Sales Support Administrator provides comprehensive administrative and execution-based support to a field sales organization. This role manages sales requests, prepares accurate quotes, processes orders, updates pricing, and supports CRM and ERP data integrity to ensure speed, accuracy, and consistency in transactional activities that directly impact revenue. Acting as an extension of the sales team, the Sales Support Administrator works in a highly visible office environment and supports a large sales group, requiring strong professionalism, meticulous attention to detail, and the ability to prioritize work based on urgency and business impact. Responsibilities Provide day-to-day administrative and execution-based support to a field sales organization. Manage incoming sales requests and prioritize them based on urgency and business impact. Create accurate sales quotes, ensuring correct pricing and terms to protect revenue. Enter and process customer orders in a timely and precise manner. Update and maintain pricing information to ensure consistency across systems and documentation. Support CRM and ERP data integrity by entering, updating, and validating customer and sales information. Assist with invoicing and invoice processing to support accurate billing and revenue recognition. Perform data entry and order entry tasks with exceptional accuracy and attention to detail. Provide customer service and customer support on behalf of sales representatives, handling inquiries professionally. Support sales administration activities, including sales documentation, purchase order processing, and follow-up tasks. Collaborate with internal teams and communicate with external customers using clear written and verbal communication. Act as a dependable, support-focused partner to multiple sales stakeholders, executing requests efficiently and consistently. Essential Skills Proven experience in customer service or customer support in a professional office setting. Experience in sales support, sales administration, or a similar administrative role. Strong data entry skills with exceptional accuracy, especially in pricing, quoting, and order processing. Proficiency with order entry, order processing, and purchase order handling. Experience with invoicing and invoice processing. Strong written and verbal communication skills for interacting with internal teams and external customers. High level of professionalism and dependability in a support-focused role. Strong organizational and time management skills, with the ability to prioritize multiple requests. Comfort working fully onsite in a visible, structured office environment. High school diploma required. Additional Skills & Qualifications Experience working closely with a field sales organization or large sales group. Familiarity with CRM and ERP systems and maintaining data integrity within these platforms. Proficiency with the Microsoft Office Suite for documentation, communication, and data management. Demonstrated ability to thrive in a role that requires exceptional accuracy, particularly with pricing and quoting. Ability to handle interruptions and shifting priorities while maintaining quality and professionalism. Preference for candidates interested in long-term growth and leadership development opportunities. Additional education beyond a high school diploma is preferred. Work Environment This position is fully onsite in a structured office setting, located in a large, open cubicle area near the front desk and main office traffic. The role operates in a high-visibility environment with regular exposure to senior leadership and executives. The workspace involves frequent noise and interruptions, requiring consistent professional presence, focus, and composure throughout the day. Standard office technologies and systems, including CRM, ERP, and the Microsoft Office Suite, are used regularly to support sales operations and administrative tasks. Job Type & Location This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Saint Louis, MO. Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $28.00 - $36.00/hr. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
