Job Description
Remarkable Liquids is an independent, passionate distributor and importer of the finest fermented beverages. We made Inc. Magazine's list of the 5000 fastest growing private companies in America for five consecutive years. Currently, we are looking for a Sales Support Administrator in our Guilderland Center, NY headquarters. This position offers the opportunity to become part of an amazing team, driven to deliver the best quality craft beer and other fermented beverages to our customers. Responsibilities
- Work regularly within Remarkable Liquid's ERP system, called VIP. This system holds all our customer, sales, inventory and accounting information.
- Receive, reconcile and register returning products, invoices and payments following deliveries in order to ensure each delivery day balances. Also handle the month-end close process. This includes researching and resolving issues related to invoices, payments and inventory.
- Properly adjust sales invoices and credit accounts when errors are made.
- Set up new accounts in the system.
- Work closely with Sales Representatives to ensure any changes to customer orders are made.
- Serve as a back-up Router, utilizing specified software to route trucks and assign deliveries.
- Work with Sales Representatives and customers to ensure deliveries and Accounts Receivables follow the NYS beer credit calendar.
- Work with customers to grant online bill pay access and work with the Accounts Receivable team on State Liquor Authority reporting matters.
- Work with Management and other members of staff to develop and implement new and more efficient office procedures where possible.
- Be a point of contact for sales staff to resolve billing and ordering related issues.
- Other office related duties as needed. Requirements
- Prior experience with an ERP system is strongly preferred.
- Some college studies required, Associate's or Bachelors degree preferred.
- Strong attention to detail and an ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment is critical.
- Prior experience reconciling driver delivery load paperwork is helpful.
- An understanding of customer invoicing and credits is necessary.
- Experience with Routing software is helpful.
- Strong communication and follow-up skills are essential.
- A team-player with strong interpersonal skills and the ability to interact professionally with internal staff as well as customers.
- The successful candidate must have strong organization skills.
- Working knowledge of Microsoft Office, including comfort working with Excel, is required.
- Basic Accounts Receivable knowledge is helpful.
