Job Description

Company Profile:
Kentex Corporation, a sourcing, importing, and distribution company, is a fast paced company seeking an individual who is highly motivated, dependable, detail oriented, and able to multi-task. Based in Columbus, OH, Kentex Co. imports commodities including Flooring, home textiles, furniture, and décor to then be distributed to major retail chain stores across the United States.
Job Summary:
The Admin coordinator/Sales Assistant will be involved in many aspects of our development, sourcing and distribution process. Product lines include home textiles, small furniture and flooring products. Working closely with our Product Development team, the Admin coordinator main objective is to support between the Sales team and purchasing team in quoting, processing import and domestic purchase orders, corresponding with retail buyers, and follow up procedures. The candidate will have excellent written and verbal skills along with problem solving and analytical skills. This position requires a strong attention to detail, the ability to balance shifting priorities, and a proactive mindset.
Responsibilities:
Work with Product Development to manage and create new products based on customer's request. Work with Sales team to assist in quoting, product sampling, product packaging, monitor sales, assist in developing products, and resolve issues Work with purchasing team to make sure sales are getting proper information and updates, review open orders, remind/review factory updated samples that need to be shipped Obtain industry knowledge and awareness through product research and store visits in order to identify market trends and movements Process and track purchase orders. Coordinate with sales, product development, and buyers to monitor delivery dates, resolve discrepancies, ensure industry regulations are met, develop packaging designs, and oversee quality assurance. Prepare sales presentations and create procedural guidelines Resolve customer claims
Skills/Qualifications:
Strong writing and communication skills Bachelor's degree is required Detail-oriented and organized Critical thinking and analytics abilities to resolve issues Able to multi-task and adapt to varying tasks in a fast-paced environment Able to meet deadlines
Microsoft Office:
Word, Excel, PowerPoint Flooring industry experience is not required but favorable
