About the Role As a Retail Sales Assistant, you will be the dynamic face of our sales floor. You will play a key role in delivering excellent service, driving customer acquisition, and supporting daily retail sales goals. You will work closely with senior leadership and inventory teams to streamline workflows, optimize product displays, and maximize revenue opportunities.
Greet and assist customers on the sales floor in a friendly, professional manner, identifying their needs and guiding their buying decisions.
Product Expertise:
Maintain a deep understanding of our products, pricing, promotions, and features to effectively share value propositions with buyers.
Revenue Performance:
Recommend complementary products, execute strategic cross-selling, and upsell to enhance the customer journey and meet daily sales goals.
Transaction Processing:
Execute client checkouts accurately and efficiently using computer-based point-of-sale (POS) systems .
Retail Operations Support Visual Merchandising:
Restock shelves, organize high-traffic displays, and monitor inventory levels to keep the sales floor presentation pristine.
Inventory Handling:
Assist with receiving, sorting, processing, and labeling incoming merchandise shipments.
Product Integrity:
Support real-time pricing updates, accurate promotional signage, and regular stock replenishment.
Opening/Closing Procedures:
Help execute daily opening and closing checklists to ensure secure and clean facility upkeep. Team & Store Support Collaborate proactively with team members to meet or exceed collaborative performance milestones. Follow all company policies, workplace safety standards, and retail loss-prevention procedures. Contribute to a high-energy, positive, and productive store environment.
Required Qualifications Education:
Recent high school graduate or college graduate (Degrees in Business, Marketing, or Communications are a plus).
Communication:
Exceptional verbal communication and interpersonal skills with a confident, customer-first attitude.
Organization:
Strong multitasking abilities, sharp attention to detail, and a proactive approach to maintaining order.
Technical Aptitude:
Basic computer literacy and proficiency with digital retail tools or POS software systems.
Work Ethic:
Reliable, punctual, and highly accountable with a desire to learn, adapt, and grow professionally. Preferred Qualifications Prior experience in retail sales, hospitality, customer service, or cashiering roles is a plus, but not required.
