Duties Engage with prospective clients in the commercial and industrial sectors to understand their lighting requirements and present tailored LED lighting solutions. Conduct detailed product demonstrations highlighting features, benefits, and technical specifications of LED lights suitable for various applications. Develop and execute strategic sales plans to target key industry segments, expanding market reach and increasing sales volume. Collaborate with engineering and technical teams to provide pre-sales support, including technical analysis, proposal development, and project planning. Maintain comprehensive knowledge of industry trends, competitor offerings, and emerging technologies such as smart lighting controls and energy management systems. Manage the entire sales cycle from lead generation through closing deals, ensuring excellent customer service throughout the process. Support project management efforts by coordinating delivery schedules, installation timelines, and post-sales support to ensure customer satisfaction. Skills Strong understanding of computer networking concepts relevant to smart lighting systems and IoT integrations. Experience with cloud platforms such as AWS (Amazon Web Services), Azure, or VMware for managing connected lighting solutions or related infrastructure. Proficiency in programming languages like Python and Bash (Unix shell) for troubleshooting or customizing lighting control systems. Familiarity with Linux operating systems for system configuration and maintenance tasks. Demonstrated ability in pre-sales activities including technical presentations, product demos, and client consultations. Excellent sales skills with a proven track record in technical or product-based selling within the commercial or industrial markets. Project management capabilities to oversee multiple client projects simultaneously while maintaining attention to detail.
